Managed IT Services
We know that you are busy so we haven’t made this complicated. Using our knowledge of IT and our experience of dealing with business IT systems, we have packaged 4 tiers of support services.
Most our clients choose all 4 tiers, which gives you a fixed budget for your IT support and peace of mind that we are involved in every aspect of a business IT requirement.
However, you don’t have to choose all the tiers at once. You can start off with just monitoring and alerting and we can provide our service on a time and material basis. You only pay for when you need us, if you don’t need us, all you pay is the £15 monitoring fee.
Tier 1 – Daily Healthchecks and Monitoring
This should be the foundation of any IT service. Naturally, we can deal with on demand requests for assistance via our helpdesk, but we have also invested in a comprehensive state of the art health check and monitoring system that we provide as the foundation of our support service. Every morning, before the business day starts, we perform a comprehensive health check of your IT system. We then continue to monitor the system for changes 24/7 365 days per year. These changes are indicators of performance and health. We are sure that you would agree, that we prefer to deal with any maintenance work in a time that suits the business, not as an emergency critical failure.
Any issues that are found during the healthchecks or monitoring, are dealt with on a time and materials basis, unless you subscribe to tier 2.
Tier 2 – Pure Technical Support
The next level allows us to provide unlimited technical support at a fixed price for your server equipment and or your desktop computers. Maybe we are supporting all your equipment, or maybe we are an overflow for your existing helpdesk. Within this service, we can administer the server, tune the performance of your equipment, resolve faults or administer important security updates. we deal with emergency calls immediately and will be actively working on all other calls within 1 hour.
Tier 3 – Strategy & Supplier management
A sophisticated service that allows us to manage all the third party suppliers that contribute to your IT solution including, but not limited to:
- Internet access providers
- Hosted email providers
- Database and software vendors
- Mobile and fixed line providers
- Hardware and Software vendors
This means that we can become a single point of contact for all technology issues.
Managing your IT strategy needs both IT and business experience, as well as a knowledge of your company. As a small business ourselves, we deal with the same aspects of business management as you. Therefore we present information the way that we like it –concise, relevant and on time. We will be able to create an IT strategy for your business and more importantly keep it updated and present it back to you for confirmation every 12 months, or earlier of you wish.
Tier 4 – Onsite support
The final tier of our support service, is an option for us to give a fixed cost to cover any onsite emergency visit should they be required. A bit like an insurance policy to mitigate against the costs of onsite cover.
We have found that we come onsite less often for IT faults compared to 36 months ago, so have reduced the cost of our IT support service by presenting this service as a selectable option. Even if you do not require the service, we can still come to your site to resolve problems, we will simply bill you for the time that we were with you.
